Getting support for Az

Az Support
Support for Az is available to customers who have purchased some sort of support or who have downloaded Az within the past 30 days. If you fall into one of these categories, read on. If not, and you need support, please go to http://www.galatea.com/az/get/support where you can read about and obtain different levels of support.
Note that support is currently only available in English. We are working on staffing for other languages, so please be patient!
There are three ways of getting support:
1. Support form The Support Form is the best way to submit a trouble ticket, as long as you have a connection to the Internet from the machine that this copy of Az is running on. Once you fill out the form, the Az web application will submit a SOAP request to the Galatea IS Inc. website. There, the ticket will be automatically entered into our database and a support person will receive a notification. You will receive a case number back for tracking purposes.
2. Email If you wish to email us directly, send an email to az@galatea.com. Please include the following information:
  • Your license key (found in $AZ_HOME/conf/az.xml)
  • Your Az version
  • Your OS and version
  • Your Java version
  • Your problem, including any error messages or stack traces
  • Your contact information ONLY if different from that with which you registered
Once we receive your email, we will assign it a tracking number and reply back.
3. Telephone If you prefer, you can call in your case using our toll-free number, 800-711-4901. However, please be aware that whoever answers will basically be manually entering in your information in the same database which is populated by the automated process.
